Remote Sensing involves sourcing and acquiring earth observation data (from satellites or aircraft), correcting (geo-, ortho- or radiometric corrections) this data so that map data can be overlaid, enhancing and classifying the data to bring out environmental features of interest and analyzing and interpreting these data.
